Well, I have decided to join the Spring Fitness Challenge over at Wanderlusted. I have been on a kick recently to get into better shape. You see, I went on trek this summer and had to get into shape for that, between about June and August 6th, I lost eight pounds. (Note: Trek is wandering around in the middle of nowhere pulling a handcart for 4 days. I lost 5 as a teenager.) Then I continued to try and be good, and with a job that made me run around like a crazy person during Christmas, by January I had lost another six. However, since then I have lost a pound, and I think put it back on. But, I want to get better, not only to loose weight, but to be in better shape to be able to do things.
So, here I go, joining the Fitness Challenge. My goal is to be able to run a mile by the end of March. I'll be exercising, as it says, at least 15 day out of 30 for an hour each. Probably more. I look forward to it, and encourage you all to join in. If not officially, then just get out there and do something.
I am so excited that you are joining! I am sure that you'll be able to run a mile by the end of March - although to be honest I have found that walking A LOT is what helps me lose weight the most. Either way glad to have you on board!

Glad to be joining in. I think you may put too much confidence in me, I am horribly out of shape, and never been good at running. But hey, goals are not goals unless they challenge us right? But I think I'll be walking a lot too.
DeleteIf you have the chance I find that running or walking at a slow pace with friends helps me the most with building stamina. It is because we talk the WHOLE time and it helps me build stamina a lot faster than trying to just run faster on my own. I hope that made sense lol
