greenhouse gases

The gases in the atmosphere are mostly nitrogen and oxygen. About 1% is of argon. The rest is a tiny amount of greenhouses gases (it is on the graph, I promise.) Greenhouse gases consist of carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, halocarbons, methane, and ozone. With water vapor these gases are the only reason the atmosphere works like a greenhouse.
