This is not to meant to offend anyone, it is just something
I have observed. Please don't take offensive,
but do think about what you have up.
There is this feature on MySpace where you can post
pictures. I don't know any of you have
heard of it or not. It is very
hidden. The problem is not that you can
post pictures, but what ones you post.
I know a lot of people who take pictures trying to look
sexy. It's okay if you do, but you have
to realize that there are a lot of people who do think it is sexy, and you may
not want them thinking that.
Anyone can get onto MySpace, anyone. You can be whoever you want to be. I know some people who are a totally
different person online. Now, a lot of
this time you don't realize you are doing it.
I know that my profile isn't really who I am. It is a little different than my real
personality. I think everyone's is to a
certain extent.
But the juicy part is the pictures. There are so many people out there who are
underage who have those pictures up. I
know of one guy, who has lied about his age, by a couple of years, and has a
bunch of girls, all younger, mostly underage, as friends. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of
friends, but I don't think that he is just out for friendship. Those pictures, where the girls think they
look a little hot in, are probably a big turn on for him. I don't think that they really want him
thinking what he does.
I know of another person, a girl, who thinks around the
same. So, it is not just the guys who do
it. Everyone needs to be careful. Sometimes it is not even the good
pictures. It is just pictures of younger
people. If you have ever seen what is
considered "Kid Porn," it is basically just nice pictures of kids,
not even anything really bad. I know
there is some pictures on MySpace that would fall into this category.
So, my advice is to look at what you have in your pictures,
and maybe consider changing it. I know
that there are people out there putting up a front that if they knew what
people thought of them, they wouldn't like it.
Be careful.
Disclaimer: This post was originally made on the website MySpace. MySpace has changed, and I don't get on it anymore. However, I didn't want to loose this. So, now you can enjoy them here on my blog as well.
